I am laughing
belly bursting
eyes brimming over
with tears.
the shock and sadness
overpowered
by the delicious humor
that makes humans so
very
ridiculous.
i am an idiot
a fool
a jester.
i sit among
feelings,
for once
not attempting to give them
a name.
oh, fools we mortals be.
so pardon me
as i lose it:
laughing
giggling
snorting
chortling
cackling.
Sometimes
i am even too
ridiculous
for myself.
